This extended dash cubby replaces the small factory pocket found in early to mid-2000s Chevy and GMC trucks. The stock cubby is too narrow and tapered to hold a phone, but this redesigned version is longer and wider, allowing you to easily fit most modern smartphones. The inner diameter of the wireless and non wireless charger cubby's measures 79mm wide and 162mm in length, giving you more usable space for your phone or small items while keeping them secure and within reach. To install just slide on the clips from the old cubby and install the cubby in the dash.
Wireless Charger Version: The cubby comes with the wireless charger already installed, plus a USB-C power lead and a pigtail connector. You can tap the pigtail into a 5–9V power source in the vehicle, or run a step-down converter and tap into the cigarette lighter wires for power. The charger cannot exceed 9V input, so do not connect it to straight 12V. If you want the easiest setup, a 12V to 9V step-down converter would work best when tapping into cigarette lighter wires.
